Responsibilities:
- Understand the existing functionality of the products through the existing documentation provided.
- A tester should have the ability to work on various projects
- The person should have some familiarity with SDLC and web applications. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks:
- Ability to understand the current business requirement and the technology being used.
- Ability to create good quality test cases by going through business requirements/use cases.
- Debug existing product/solutions
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s Engineering degree or related technical field from Tier 1 / Tier 2 college
- Excellent analytical skills and a problem solver
- Good in communication
- Knowledge on SDLC
- Familiarity with cloud, web application
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of relational database (Postgres / Oracle)
- Knowledge of SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
